Jessica earned her Master’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2003 from the MGH-Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. Her decision to attend this particular graduate program was prompted by working at a residential school for children with various disabilities, such as behavioral disorders and children with autism. In that position, she became familiar with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)and interested in the field of speech language pathology.
After earning her graduate degree, Jessica relocated to San Diego and where she has enjoyed working in the San Diego City Schools as well as clinical settings. She has worked with children ranging from preschool through high school and is experienced in a variety of speech and language disabilities, such as articulation/phonological delays, receptive/expressive language disorders, autism, and social language disorders. Jessica balances her position as an SLP in a San Diego middle school while working at the Crimson Center.
